Designing with and for our community.
The 2016 MSPF Festival is collaborating with a group of community stakeholders and organizations who represent a range of interests to participate in the design of a community prototype. This community prototype will be designed based on the insights and collective local expertise of this group we call the Central Market Think Tank. We are focusing on the Central Market/Tenderloin area, which is centered roughly around Market Street between 5th and 7th streets, because this is one of the geographies for the festival. The Think Tank is currently discussing and prioritizing project ideas through a series of meetings and will be making a final decision on the design to be revealed at the MSPF Design Charrette in July.
